James Gardner - Owner

Born and raised in the Waikato on a drystock farm in the Whitehall valley outside Cambridge.

I've been in agriculture all my life, working across the sheep, beef and dairy sectors.

After graduating from Lincoln University, I've spent over 25yrs in Rural Banking in Australia and NZ. Throughout this time I've involved myself in Environmental Compliance & Excellence and Sustainable Finance initiatives.

Most recently I was the National Manager of the Ballance Farm Sustainability Services team - leading a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants to help farmers with their Environmental and Sustainability needs and challenges.

I've continued my education with Sustainable Nutrient Mgmt courses through Massey University, and also embarked on a post-grad in Environmental Management at Lincoln.

I am passionate about farming and the environment - in particular getting the balance right, and supporting rural families and businesses.
